Your portrait can be taken from a single photograph, or multiple photographs if needed, to help bring your ideas to life, and it is even possible to make small alterations if required.

I love creating realistic waves of hair, and detailed characteristics of the skin, which all help to produce a photo like finish to your commission. I layer elegant fabrics, over and over, until I achieve a smooth, balanced, realistic finish. To achieve this look, it not only requires expert technical ability, but also a deep understanding of materials, patience, and time. I spend hours upon hours delicately layering, fusing, and bonding... This process can take many days to complete and requires great attention to detail. Recieving Your Portrait

Unfortunately I don’t offer framing but I’m happy to advise my customers on how to get their portrait framed professionally.

Yes, if you live in the Manchester area you’re welcome to come and collect your portrait in person if you’d prefer

I’m very grateful when customers allow me to display their portraits, however I understand that some people prefer not to. I display some portraits on the website and on my Facebook, Instagram pages. However if you don’t want your portrait to appear online just let me know.

Payment

Full payment is required, before I start work on your portrait. However if you really aren’t happy with your Photo Proofs and wish to cancel your order, then your deposit will be refunded in full.

The easiest way to pay is through our website. You can also pay by Paypal or credit card, though a processing fee will apply.

I can get a giclée printed copy made for you from your
portrait, or more than one copy at a additional cost if you’d like. This is a high quality print on platinum etching paper, which looks very similar to the original fabric art masterpiece.

Our normal artwork creation time is 2 weeks (usually faster).

Shipping time:

  • International: 6-18 days

On average, our customers receive their order about 2-3 weeks after confirming photos proofs..

If you need your order arrived before certain date, don't hesitate to contact us. We'll do our best to deliver your order on time for your special occasions.

Yes, we sell the Art prints and framing options in a various of colors

Register your return via airen@madeoflayers.co.uk. After registration you will receive an email containing instructions and address details. You are responsible for postage and shipping costs. Your return package should be well-protected.
